A devastating incident occurred in Gulmi, where a fire at Sarvodaya School Sallaghari in Lower Paudi, Musikot Municipality Ward No. 1, led to the death of one individual and injuries to another.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of the District Police Office, Gulmi, Rajan Bhujel, confirmed the passing of 58-year-old Mahale Gharti. Gharti tragically succumbed to injuries sustained while bravely attempting to extinguish the blaze and passed away during treatment at Gulmi Hospital.
The fire also resulted in injuries to 52-year-old Resham Thapa, who is currently undergoing treatment at Gulmi Hospital.
