Nepal’s government has appointed new leadership to three of the country’s main cultural institutions. The appointments were made based on the recommendations of a committee chaired by the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has selected new leaders for the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, Nepal Lalit Kala Pragya Pratisthan, and Nepal Sangeet and Natya Pragya Pratisthan. Kumar Nagarkoti from Sindhuli has been appointed as the Chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan.

Erina Tamrakar from Lalitpur has been appointed as the Chancellor of Lalit Kala Pragya Pratisthan, while Brajesh Khanal from Kathmandu has been appointed as the Chancellor of Nepal Sangeet and Natya Pragya Pratisthan.
