Nepali Congress ministers have tendered their resignation from the Koshi Province government following a change in the power dynamics of the province.
According to Gopal Tamang, chief whip of the Nepali Congress in the Koshi Province Assembly, the ministers will submit their resignation today.
The Koshi Province government has five ministers from the Nepali Congress, including one state minister. They are Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Pradeep Sunuwar, Health Minister Man Bahadur Limbu, Industry, Agriculture, and Cooperatives Minister Israel Mansuri, Tourism, Forest, and Environment Minister Bhim Parajuli, and State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Shobha Chemjong.
Their resignation comes after the CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre formed a new power equation in the province.
