The body of Sushmita Thapa, 19, was discovered hanging from a tree in the forest above the Gorakhnath temple. DSP Keshav Thebe from the Gaushala Police Circle confirmed the grim discovery to Nepalpress earlier today.
“This morning, individuals out for a stroll stumbled upon the distressing scene and promptly alerted the authorities,” stated DSP Thebe. “The body was found hanging from a tree.”

Sushmita had been missing for several days before the discovery. Hailing from a family in Sindhuli, she resided in Baluwakhani, Kapan.
