Maoist Fighter Convicted of Murder to be Transferred to Chitwan Court

Former Maoist combatant Kali Bahadur Kham, convicted by the court for the murder of businessman Ramhari Shrestha, is scheduled to be transported to Chitwan on Tuesday night.

According to SP Nabaraj Adhikari of the District Police Complex in Kathmandu, the transfer will take place on Tuesday night. The District Police Office in Chitwan will receive Kham and present him to the District Court in Chitwan. Kham, a prominent figure within the Maoist Center and serving as Deputy Chief of the Security Department, will face legal proceedings upon his arrival at the court.
