Landslide blocks BP Highway, rain hampers clearance

KAVRE: The BP Highway has been completely blocked by a landslide at Pinthalibesi in Roshi Rural Municipality-9, Kavre.

According to Rabin Bista, information officer at the District Police Office, efforts are underway to clear the debris and reopen the highway. However, continuous rainfall has hampered the clearance operation.

Bista has urged travellers to check road conditions before setting out and use alternative routes, warning that rainfall could trigger further obstructions at other sections of the highway.
