Instagram, owned by Meta Platforms, experienced a major outage early on the morning of March 22nd leading it to go down. According to Downdetector.com, over 5,000 users in the United States reported issues at the outage’s peak. Primary problems included difficulty logging in, app malfunctions, and server connection errors.
This follows a worldwide outage on March 5th affecting both Facebook and Instagram, where users faced login problems and were unexpectedly logged out.
