The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled a massive prize pool for the upcoming T20 World Cup, with the champions taking home a staggering $2.45 million.
This is the highest payout in the history of the tournament. The runner-up will also be handsomely rewarded with $1.228 million.

- Semi-finalists: $787,000 each
- Quarter-finalists: $382,000 each
- 9th-12th place: $247,000 each
- 13th-20th place: $225,000 each
- Win per match (excluding quarter-finals and above): $31,154
This exciting news extends to Nepal, which will receive a participation fee of $250,000.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held on June 29th at Kingston Oval in Barbados. The tournament itself will see 55 matches played across 28 days.
