KATHMANDU: Floods in the Budhigandaki River have washed away 35 houses in the Chumanubri Rural Municipality of Gorkha district.
According to Chumanubri Rural Municipality Vice-Chair Laxmi Gurung, the villages of Paiyu and Bagar have suffered significant damage, with extensive destruction also reported in Dobhan, Ghettekhola, Jagat, and Salleri villages.
