A fire broke out in Rokaya tol of Mashta rural municipality-6 on Monday afternoon, destroying three houses aligned on the same axis. Residents Bijay Rokaya, Lokendra Rokaya, and Ishwar Rokaya have lost their homes and all of their possessions in the blaze.
Ward Secretary Chakra Bahadur Rokaya reports that valuable belongings including gold ornaments, cash, food supplies, and other essential items were lost in the fire. Strong winds fueled the flames, making it difficult to extinguish the fire.
Security personnel from the temporary police post in Mashta village have been dispatched to the scene. Further details regarding the cause of the fire and the total extent of the damage are still awaited.
