Rising dancer and ‘Boogie Woogie’ winner Kabita Nepali is set to debut alongside star Pradeep Khadka in the upcoming film ‘Eklo’. Nepali, gaining popularity in the Nepali music video scene, recently signed a contract to join the project.
Director Pradeep Shahi confirmed Nepali’s lead role in the film. The film boasts a star-studded cast, reportedly including names like Vijay Lama, Benisha Hamal, Sunil Thapa, and Avanraj Upreti.
While originally touted as science fiction, ‘Eklo’ will now explore the timely theme of a devastating virus outbreak. Shooting is scheduled to begin in August-September.
For Pradeep Khadka, known for his character-driven roles, this film marks a significant step in his career. Director Shahi’s previous work, ‘Antim Sanskar’, was recently released. ‘Eklo’ will be produced under the Shahi Production banner.
