One person has been killed in a tragic accident involving a Scorpio vehicle on the Majhuwa Deurali-Manakamana road section in Sahid Lakhan Village-3, Ghaorleswor. The victim, Shovakar Gaire from East Nawalparasi, died after the Scorpio (Ga 1 Cha 7619) lost control while traveling uphill, slid backward, and overturned.
Gaire sustained injuries in the accident and was rushed to Chhimkeswor Hospital in Anbu Khaireni, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Gorkha DSP Ramesh Kumar Shrestha has confirmed that the driver of the vehicle, Beg Bahadur Chhetri, is in police custody.
