Construction of the 10-kilometer Chhusang-Kagbeni road in Mustang has begun. The Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project signed an agreement worth Rs 28.87 million to start the construction work.
According to Sagar Suvedi, a representative of the project, the construction of the road section is expected to be completed by Ashar 24, 2084. The project has also completed the blacktopping of the 42-kilometer road section from Chhusang to Ghemi in Jomsom-Korala.
The estimated cost for the road section is Rs 200 million. The project aims to improve the road infrastructure in the region, connecting the rural areas to the urban centers.
