A 34-year-old man, Jiwan Babu Thapamagar, tragically passed away on Sunday morning while waiting in a queue to purchase a ticket for a heart check-up at Bakulahar Ratnanagar Hospital in East Chitwan. Mr. Thapamagar, a resident of Ratnanagar Municipality, suddenly collapsed in the line. He was rushed to the hospital’s emergency room but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Madan Gyawali confirmed the death, attributing it to a suspected cardiac arrest. According to Dr. Gyawali, Thapamagar arrived at the hospital around 10 am seeking treatment. The hospital had been closed for two consecutive public holidays, leading to a long queue for outpatient services.
