A jeep traveling from Dharan to Bhojpur met with a fatal accident near Chuhar in Udaipur district, killing five people. The deceased include the driver, Man Bahadur Basnet, and four passengers whose identities are yet to be confirmed.
The jeep (Ko 1 Ja 2593) was carrying 14 passengers, most of whom were from Aamchok and Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipalities in Bhojpur.
DSP Sudipraj Pathak of the District Police Office Bhojpur confirmed the five deaths. Rescue operations are ongoing, and injured passengers are being prepared for transport to Dharan for further treatment.
