The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has successfully apprehended Dawa Lama, the vice president of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for the office, Rabindra Regmi, confirmed that Lama was taken into custody in Kathmandu.
Lama had been on the run since 2064 after the High Court of Patan found him guilty of involvement in a case concerning the illegal trade of gray heroin. “Today, our team has successfully arrested him,” stated Regmi.
