A tragedy struck yesterday afternoon in Satdobato, Kathmandu, as a young man lost his life in a swimming pool drowning.
According to the District Police Complex Lalitpur, 23-year-old Ujwal Shrestha, a resident of Bafal, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-17 originally from Mahankal Rural Municipality-3, drowned while swimming on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 11:30 am. Shrestha reportedly fainted while swimming and was rushed to B&B Hospital for medical attention. Sadly, despite efforts from medical professionals, doctors declared him deceased at 3 pm.
