Mirra Andreeva defeated Nikola Bartunkova 6-2, 6-2 in the WTA China Open 2026 semifinals on Saturday, October 10, to reach the Beijing final for the first time in her career. The 19-year-old Russian dominated the match with powerful groundstrokes and controlled tennis, winning 64% of the points played. The victory also guarantees Andreeva a rise to world No. 3 in the WTA rankings on Monday.

Andreeva Dominates Bartunkova To Reach Beijing Final

Andreeva needed little more than an hour to overcome the 20-year-old Czech, winning both sets by the same scoreline. She struck 16 winners and committed just 10 unforced errors, compared with Bartunkova’s 14 winners and 20 unforced errors.
