A fire incident in Doti resulted in injuries to a woman. Chandra Devi Bhandari, aged 41 and a resident of Shikhar Municipality-4 Selbunga, sustained burns during the incident.
According to Deputy Inspector of Police Narayan Singh Negi from the District Police Office in Doti, the fire erupted in the forest around 4:00 PM. Bhandari suffered burns while she was engaged in digging a well for an irrigation project within the Patalisain Community Forest.
Bhandari’s injuries are severe, and she was initially treated locally before being transferred to Soo Jung Hospital in Rajpur for further medical attention, as confirmed by Deputy Inspector Negi.
