UKMTO announced on Sunday that it had gotten information regarding an incident in the Gulf of Oman, and the matter was under investigation. The US Central Command reported that their forces had rendered a commercial cargo ship unusable when the ship ignored warnings and tried to breach the naval blockade of Iran.
