A jeep traveling from Ghodetar in Bhojpur to Dharan in Sunsari plunged 500 meters down the road, resulting in a devastating accident. Six people were confirmed dead at the scene, but their identities remain unknown.
Seven injured individuals were rescued and transported to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, according to Milan Rai, a local witness.
Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Ghimire has mobilized police from both Bhojpur and Udaipur districts to assist in the rescue efforts. The cause of the tragic accident is currently under investigation.
