A clash during Holi celebrations in Dholahiti, Lalitpur on Sunday night resulted in the tragic deaths of two individuals. The deceased have been identified as Robash Rai (28) of Panchthar and Pujan Rai (30) of Sunsari, both residing in Dholahiti.
Police spokesman SP Nareshraj Subedi confirmed the incident, stating that bodies have been transferred to Sumeru Hospital and Patan Hospital respectively. Police were alerted to the scene following reports of a gang fight that turned deadly.
Authorities have made 18 arrests in connection to the incident and recovered a sharp weapon from the scene. Further investigations into the clash are underway.
