On March 26th, the Drug Control Bureau arrested two Brazilian citizens, Larison Brito dos Santos and Fernanda Bhel Dis Santos, for cocaine possession. The arrests took place at a hotel in Thamel.
Authorities discovered 1.39 kg of cocaine capsules hidden within the suspects’ luggage. Additionally, both suspects had swallowed cocaine capsules, leading to their hospitalization. Police recovered a further 65 grams of cocaine from their stomachs.
SP Rameshwar Karki of the Drug Control Bureau confirmed the arrests and the method of drug concealment.
