Tragedy struck Madhya Pradesh, India, on Sunday night when a tractor carrying passengers overturned on Piplodi road. The accident, which occurred near the border with Rajasthan, claimed the lives of 13 people, according to BBC reports.
Authorities say the tractor was traveling from Rajasthan to Rajgarh when it lost control due to high speed and crashed. Forty people were injured in the accident and are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Yadav expressed their condolences to the families of the victims.
