Residents in some parts of Nepal can expect scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning has been reported since morning in isolated areas of Kosi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. These areas are expected to experience partly to mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon and evening, with a chance of further rain.
The rest of the country can expect a generally clear to partly cloudy day, transitioning to partly cloudy to mainly clear skies in the afternoon and evening. However, there remains a possibility of isolated light rain with thunder and lightning in some places across the country.
