Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff survived a shooting attack in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, October 18, after unidentified men opened fire at his BMW sedan outside a sports ground. Three videos capturing different moments of the incident have emerged which show the sound of gunshots, two men firing directly at the actor’s car, the injured driver getting out of the vehicle and Tiger moving from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat after the shooting.
While Tiger escaped without any gunshot injuries, his driver, Firdaus, and 35-year-old blogger Umesh Chavan, who had arrived to cover the actor’s event, were injured. According to NDTV, Mumbai Police have detained one person in connection with the case.
An audio clip circulating online also features a man claiming responsibility for the attack alongside another person and issuing threats against people in the film industry who work with Salman Khan. The authenticity of the audio and the claims made in it have not been independently established.

DCP Mohit Garg told ANI that the firing took place at around 7 PM on Sunday, when unidentified individuals opened fire as Tiger Shroff was leaving a private event. The police officer confirmed that the actor was safe and that two people had sustained injuries.
“This incident took place around 7 o’clock. Some unknown individuals arrived at the scene and opened fire on Mr. Tiger Shroff as he was leaving after concluding a private event. Mr. Tiger Shroff did not sustain any gunshot injuries; he is completely safe. Two people were injured in the incident: one is his driver, Mr. Firdaus, who sustained an injury to his hand—according to the latest information, he is out of danger. The second person injured is Mr. Chauhan, who is currently undergoing treatment. Recognizing the seriousness of the incident, the Mumbai Police have deployed a sufficient number of teams, with various branches involved in the investigation. A forensic team has conducted a preliminary analysis. Further relevant information will be conveyed to you as it becomes available.”
