Thaneshwor Acharya, Director of the Human Resource Management Department at the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has been suspended from his duties amid accusations of sexual misconduct.
Allegations against Acharya involve purported sexual abuse against a female coworker during an event in Nagarkot, held in the month of Poush.
The decision to suspend Acharya was made in response to the gravity of these allegations.
Bhagawat Acharya, the Information Officer at the NRB, confirmed that Thaneshwor Acharya’s suspension was enacted due to the accusations.
With the suspension in effect, the implicated Director now faces charges related to the alleged sexual abuse involving his female colleague.
