Special Executive Magistrate sends CJP’s leaders Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka to five-day judicial custody in trespassing case

Hours after being placed under preventive arrest, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were sent to five days of judicial custody on Wednesday (October 14, 2026).

They will be lodged in the Tihar Jail.

An FIR was registered against the two under sections pertaining to breach of bond, criminal trespass and disobedience of orders, among other charges. Ajinkya Shinde, who was also placed under preventive arrest, was released on a personal bond.
