Siraha police have arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of a Katuwa Pistol. Saroj Kumar Yadav, a resident of Aurahi Rural Municipality-4 Kamalpur, Siraha, was apprehended last Saturday night.
Authorities were alerted to Yadav’s presence at the residence of Ram Pukar Sharma in Siraha Municipality-7. Saroj Yadav was visiting the home where Sanjit Kumar Yadav, 22, of Aurahi Rural Municipality-3, and his sister Sanjita Yadav were staying.
Upon arrival, police searched and discovered a concealed Katuwa Pistol in Yadav’s possession. DSP Rabindra Raj Pandey confirmed the weapon’s recovery.
The District Police Office in Siraha is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
