Shreeya Giri from Kathmandu has been named in the Social Impact category in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list for 2024. She founded Happy Minds, a platform offering online and physical mental health counseling.
In the list published on Thursday, Giri, 28, is recognized in the ‘Social Impact’ category for 2024.
While pursuing her master’s degree in London, Giri experienced mental health challenges as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded. She noticed a lack of online mental health counseling services during this period. Upon returning to Nepal after completing her studies, she launched Happy Minds to address the negative attitudes and trust issues surrounding mental health.
Happy Minds offers physical and virtual mental health counseling and various group workshops. The platform aims to provide mental health support to Nepalis worldwide.
