Chitwan, Oct 13: The number of people suffering from scrub typhus has reached 234 in the first three months of the current fiscal year in Chitwan.
As per the data released by the Public Health Office, Chitwan, the scrub typhus was confirmed on 142 people of Chitwan district and 92 from out of Chitwan district, who visited hospitals in Chitwa for treatment.
Vector Control Inspector of the Office, Ram KC, mentioned that such number of scrub typhus was detected in course of 1,816 sample test.
