A 46-year-old man from Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-4 has died following injuries sustained in the Salyan bus accident on Wednesday. The victim, identified as BK, was a passenger on the bus who fell from a bridge in Salyan Baghchaur Municipality-2.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, NaBin Karki, confirmed that BK passed away while undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur late Wednesday night.
The bus (vehicle number RA 1 KHA 2085), traveling from Dang to East Rukum, had a total of 22 injured passengers. Four of those with serious injuries were transferred to Kohalpur Hospital, while others are receiving treatment in Dang. Three seriously injured passengers remain hospitalized in Kohalpur, and most passengers with minor injuries have been treated and discharged.
