Russia Ukraine War Latest News: Recently, top officials from the US and Russia including Jared Kushner and  Kirill Demetriev held high level talks regarding how to resume operations on the Nord Stream pipelines. Notably, they suffered from a series of explosions in 2022, and German authorities are carrying out an ongoing probe to determine what happened.

According to a report by British news agency Reuters, US envoy Jared Kushner and Russian Presidential envoy Kirill Demetriev recently  held talks about bringing a US investor into the Nord Stream pipelines . 

“Any deals will have to be negotiated by Russia with DFC (US International Development Finance Corporation) and Treasury and must benefit United States taxpayers and companies,” a White House official said on condition of anonymity. Demetriev, who’s a close adviser to President Vladimir Putin has met with Kushner in New York and Moscow in recent weeks.
