A fire broke out this afternoon at the Road Division office located in New Baneshwor. The blaze, reportedly caused by an electrical short circuit, was extinguished by six fire brigades.
Assistant Police Inspector (ASI) Nara Bikram Thapa of the New Baneshwor Police Circle confirmed that the fire, which began at 2:15 PM, has been successfully doused. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed, but ASI Thapa reported that some materials within the office have been destroyed.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the fire. An investigation is underway to determine the full impact of the incident.
