Renault Duster Strong Hybrid Performance
The hybrid drivetrain combines a 1.8 litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric engines. The 1.8 litre engine generates 108 BHP and 172 Nm, while the hybrid system generates 160 PS (158 BHP) and the technical data provided by Renault suggests that the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time is 9.61 seconds.
Specialized hybrid transmission manages the gasoline and electric engine for an effective combination of power and fuel economy. This would prove extremely beneficial in traffic with a lot of stops as electric power would help to eliminate the requirement of running the gasoline engine all the time.
