Former The X Factor star Ray Quinn has revealed that his son Rio was stillborn on August 20, 2026. The 38-year-old singer shared the news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo of himself and his wife, Emily, holding their son in hospital. In his tribute, Ray called Rio their “beautiful boy” and spoke about the pain of losing him.
“No words will ever be enough, just a lot of indescribable feelings,” he wrote. The actor added, “Heaven gained the most beautiful little Angel and we were overjoyed when Rio was born and we found out we had a little boy!!”
Ray also shared how he and Emily have supported each other through the loss. “The last few weeks have been a lot but our saving grace has been each other,” he wrote.
