Rastriya Swatantra Party to Hold Monthly Citizen Dialogue

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has launched a programme called ‘Nagrik, Niti ra Netritva’ (Citizen, Policy and Leadership) with the objective of facilitating direct dialogue between its ministers and citizens.

Starting from Bhadra, the programme will see RSP ministers present at the party’s central office at least once a month to listen to the grievances, suggestions, and expectations of the general public.

According to RSP’s Deputy Chairman, Aseem Shah, the first phase of the programme will involve direct interaction with citizens from 5 pm to 6 pm. This will be followed by a ‘Netritva Samvad’ (Leadership Dialogue) programme, which will feature the participation of ministers, central members, and parliamentarians.

The RSP has stated that the programme aims to link the issues raised by citizens with the policy-making and implementation process, as well as to make its ministers more accountable.
