Differences reportedly emerged within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during a recent Core Committee meeting with one party leader blaming Sohail Afridi for the failure of the long march according to sources cited by local media.
Sources claimed that Sohail Afridi had not kept the party leadership informed about the long march plan leading to questions over how the protest was organised.
Sources further said the PTI Core Committee had scheduled another meeting for Sunday night to discuss the party’s future strategy and determine its next course of action.
