Commander National Strategic Command, General Syed Aamer Raza, said Pakistan’s decisive role in restoring regional stability, exemplified most notably by the historic Islamabad Accord, is a manifestation of the country’s longstanding commitment to peace and the reduction of diplomatic tensions.
General Aamer Raza noted that Pakistan has consistently advocated for dialogue, de-escalation and a rules-based order in a volatile regional environment, and its efforts have been recognized as contributing to broader stability.
He added that Pakistan’s strategic capabilities are purely defensive and aimed at preserving peace and deterrence in the region.
