Nepal’s National Assembly Session Begins

Nepal’s National Assembly session has begun in Kathmandu, with several key agendas on the table.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is expected to answer oral questions related to his ministry during the session. Similarly, Minister for Women, Children, and Social Welfare Sita Badi will also be answering oral questions related to her ministry.

Nepali Congress member Kamala Pant is set to present a proposal to draw the attention of the Home Minister to the government’s preparedness for monsoon disaster management.

Agriculture, Forest, and Environment Minister Gita Chaudhary is scheduled to present the ‘Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083’ in the Assembly.
