Nepal’s Jumla Traffic Office Collects Rs 1.94 Billion in Revenue

Jumla’s Traffic Office has collected a total of Rs 1.94 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year 2082/83. This is an increase of around Rs 50 million compared to the previous fiscal year 2081/82.

According to the Traffic Office, the increase in revenue is due to the rise in the number of driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations, as well as the efficient delivery of services.

The office collected Rs 18.88 million from pocket and route permits, Rs 64.92 million from vehicle registration, Rs 6.68 million from advance income tax, and Rs 1.39 billion from vehicle tax.

District Traffic Office Chief Rajendra Karki stated that the office issued a total of 620 licenses, including 188 motorcycle licenses, 38 car licenses, and 394 driver’s license renewals.
