Nepali film ‘Gounthali’ has continued its aggressive performance at the box office. The film has earned a total gross collection of 19 crore 45 lakh rupees by Sunday afternoon. Its net earnings have reached 17 crore rupees.
The film, made at a cost of around 2 crore 75 lakh rupees, has done good business even on the day of the public holiday on Sunday, with its earnings expected to reach close to 20 crore rupees. The number of viewers has exceeded 7 lakhs.
Based on the business till last Saturday, ‘Gounthali’ has surpassed the earnings of successful Nepali films like ‘Jari’, ‘Chhakka Panja 4’, and ‘Paran’. Now, it is likely to overtake ’12 Gaun’, which is currently on the list of highest-grossing Nepali films with a total gross collection of 19 crore 92 lakh rupees.
The list of highest-grossing Nepali films is currently topped by ‘Kabaddi 4’ and ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’.
