The Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating the possibility of light rain in select locations across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and the hilly regions of Sudurpaschim province during the afternoon.
In addition to the chances of rain, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in certain areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali, as well as in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the Far West Province.
Authorities are advising residents in these regions to stay informed and take necessary precautions, especially in higher elevations where snowfall is expected. The cold is anticipated to intensify due to the combination of snowfall and fog in the plains, prompting a weather alert for the Himalayan region.
