Nepal will face Canada and the United States in warm-up matches ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The matches are scheduled for May 27 and May 30, respectively, and will be held in Dallas.
The ICC T20 World Cup is set to take place in the West Indies and the USA from June 1 to 29. Twenty teams, including Nepal, will compete in the tournament. Teams are divided into four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super 8 stage.
Nepal is placed in Group D alongside Bangladesh, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Their first match will be against the Netherlands on June 4.
The warm-up matches will provide Nepal with a valuable opportunity to fine-tune its strategies and prepare for the challenging tournament ahead.
