Nepal’s government has set its sights on finalizing the construction of key trade infrastructure projects within the next fiscal year (FY 2024/25). This announcement came during the presentation of the annual budget estimate for the coming fiscal year by Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun in a joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
Key Projects Targeted for Completion:
- Integrated Check Post at Bhairahawa: This facility will streamline cross-border trade procedures at the Bhairahawa border crossing.
- Dry Port at Rasuwa: This dry port, located near the China border, will serve as a cargo handling and storage hub, expediting trade activities.
Additional Project Highlighted:
