Spoilers ahead for Nayyi Navelli.
Yami Gautam’s Nayyi Navelli ends with a battle between Mohini and Ravana, bringing its supernatural story to a mythological conclusion. What begins as a family mystery about a woman suspected of being a witch eventually turns into a fight to stop Ravana from gaining his former powers and destroying humanity.
The film follows Mohini, who marries Raja Awasthi but soon attracts suspicion from his younger brother, Bantu. While Bantu believes she is hiding something sinister, the truth is far more complicated. Mohini is a descendant of Mandodari, Ravana’s wife, and has been tasked with protecting a powerful stone called Kaal Sheel.

But when Ravana takes control of Raja, Mohini faces a difficult choice. She must save the man she loves while preventing the demon king from returning to power. Here’s how the Nayyi Navelli ending unfolds, what the Kaal Sheel does and whether Raja survives.
What Is The Kaal Sheel In Nayyi Navelli?
Kaal Sheel is a powerful stone that holds the key to Ravana regaining his former strength. Mohini has been entrusted with protecting it and ensuring that it does not fall into the wrong hands.
Her mission brings her to Meerut, where the Awasthi family lives. According to Mohini, their house stands on the site where Mandodari’s home once existed during the Treta Yuga. She believes the stone is hidden somewhere on the property.
Mohini’s task is to find Kaal Sheel before Ravana can use it to regain the power he possessed during Lord Rama’s time. If he succeeds, he could become powerful enough to threaten humanity.
The danger becomes even greater because Ravana is hiding inside Raja. Mohini must therefore protect the stone, stop Ravana and save her husband at the same time.
Why Does Ravana Possess Raja In Nayyi Navelli?
Raja’s connection to Ravana is central to the film’s supernatural conflict. Mohini reveals that Raja was born under the same nakshatra, or lunar constellation, as Ravana.
