Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for Human Resource Development, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications and Real Time Governance Nara Lokesh on Friday (October 9, 2026) paid tribute to industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata on his death anniversary.

In a post on X, Mr. Naidu said Tata’s nation-first values, humility and ethical leadership had transformed Indian industry and touched millions of lives. His compassion for people, kindness towards those who worked with him and love for animals remained an inspiration, the Chief Minister said. Andhra Pradesh had set up the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub as a tribute to his legacy, to encourage grassroots entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth, he said.

Mr. Lokesh remembered Tata as a visionary entrepreneur and a remarkable human being whose life exemplified the principle that business should serve a larger purpose.

In a post on X, Mr. Lokesh said Tata’s humility, integrity and commitment to nation-building continued to inspire generations. He said Tata’s legacy would live on through the lives he touched and the contribution he made to building India.

Describing Tata as a compassionate philanthropist, Mr. Lokesh said the industrialist believed that enterprise should go beyond business objectives and contribute to the larger good of society.
