A 20-year-old motorcyclist, Santosh Yadav from Bideha Municipality-7, has tragically died after a collision with a school bus in Dhanusha. The accident occurred around 11:00 AM today when Yadav’s motorcycle, heading towards Aurahi, collided head-on with a Lord Ganesh English Boarding School bus traveling in the opposite direction on the Jogiara-Tinkoria road section.
Yadav sustained severe injuries and, despite being rushed to Janakpur for medical treatment, succumbed to his injuries en route. Sumit Rai, a pillion rider on the motorcycle, was also injured and is currently receiving treatment at Ramjanaki Hospital in Janakpurdham.
The District Police Office Dhanusha is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
