A motorcycle accident on Sunday near Mauwalek, along the Jumlepani-Purung Cheda road in Banglachuli, resulted in one fatality and one injury.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Khetulal Nepali, a resident of Banglachuli-4. Nepali was riding a motorcycle with license plate number Ra 3 Pa 5791 at the time of the accident.
The driver of the motorcycle, 38-year-old Chet Prasad Dangi from Banglachuli-3, sustained injuries in the crash. According to District Police Office Dang DSP Janak Bahadur Malla, Dangi is currently receiving treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorahi.
The cause of the accident is not mentioned in the report. Authorities reported that the motorcycle fell approximately 4 meters from the road.
