KATHMANDU: The monsoon has completely withdrawn from Nepal, 12 days later than its normal withdrawal date, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division, under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, announced the complete withdrawal in its Monsoon Withdrawal Bulletin-2, issued at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The normal date for the monsoon to withdraw from the country is October 2.
